Carrera is promoting two Mario Kart World racing playsets featuring Mario and Yoshi: a 16-foot track set priced at $129.99 for ages 6 and up, and a foldable 9-foot Speed Arena priced at $69.99 for ages 3 and up. The source does not provide release dates or confirm availability beyond directing shoppers to Carrera’s website.
Carrera is bringing Nintendo’s Mario Kart World to tabletop racing with two playsets featuring Mario and Yoshi, according to a report by The Toy Insider. The sets differ in size and age rating: the 16-foot GO!!! Racing Set is listed for ages 6 and up at $129.99, while the foldable Speed Arena has a 9-foot track, is listed for ages 3 and up, and costs $69.99.
The higher-priced Mario Kart World GO!!! Racing Set includes a 16-foot racetrack with a loop, controllers described as turbo controllers, and an electronic lap counter. The Toy Insider says children can race the included Mario and Yoshi vehicles. The listed retail price is $129.99, and the recommended age is 6 and up.
The Mario Kart World Speed Arena is described as a portable, foldable playset. Its listed contents include a 9-foot track, two vehicles featuring Mario and Yoshi, and controllers. The set is priced at $69.99 and listed for children ages 3 and up. The source does not give dimensions for the folded set or specify whether its controllers include the same features as those in the larger set.
The Toy Insider directs shoppers to Carrera’s website for the products. Its report includes an affiliate disclosure saying the publication may earn revenue from purchases made through links. The source material does not state a launch date, shipping schedule, or confirmed inventory, so the listed prices and specifications should be understood as the details provided in that report rather than confirmation of current stock.
Two Sets Target Different Ages
The announcement gives families two versions of the same licensed racing concept, with the price, track length and age rating providing the clearest differences. The larger set offers a longer course, a loop and an electronic lap counter; the lower-priced Speed Arena is designed to fold and travel. Those distinctions may help shoppers compare the products, but the stated age ranges are product guidance, not a substitute for checking the packaging and instructions.
For retailers and toy buyers, the sets extend the reach of Mario Kart World beyond the video game into physical racing play. The two products also span different age categories, from ages 3 and up to ages 6 and up. The report does not provide sales projections, manufacturing details or evidence of consumer demand, so the announcement does not establish how well either set will perform.
The products use Carrera-branded controllers and vehicles rather than describing a connection to the Nintendo Switch 2. The available information presents them as standalone racing playsets; it does not say they interact with the game or require a console. That distinction matters for shoppers who might otherwise assume a licensed video-game toy has digital functionality.

A Console Game Gets Physical Tracks
The Toy Insider identifies Mario Kart World as a Nintendo racing game featuring characters including Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach and Bowser. According to the report, the game was designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 and includes modes such as Grand Prix and Knockout Tour. That is the game context for Carrera’s licensing tie-in, not a claim that the toys reproduce those modes.
The Carrera products translate the character pairing into a familiar slot-car format: two vehicles race around a track using hand controllers. The GO!!! set emphasizes a longer layout and lap counting, while the Speed Arena is described as foldable and portable. The source offers no additional timeline for the game’s release or the playsets, and it does not identify whether the tracks are compatible with other Carrera systems.

Release Details Still Missing
The source material does not specify when either set will go on sale, which stores will carry them, or whether the listed prices apply in every market. It also does not confirm current availability on Carrera’s website. The report supplies product facts and prices but no independent testing or detailed manufacturer documentation.
Other product details remain unspecified, including the track’s full dimensions, power requirements, how the loop is assembled, and whether the vehicles or track work with other Carrera sets. The source lists age ratings of 3+ and 6+, but does not explain the basis for those ratings or provide safety instructions. Buyers should check the products’ packaging and current consumer-product safety information before purchase, including applicable CPSC recall notices.
Check Carrera for Availability
The next practical step for shoppers is to check Carrera’s official website and retailers for live listings, stock, shipping details and any changes to the reported prices. The Toy Insider points readers to carrerarevelltoys.com but does not provide a date when either playset becomes available.
Further information from Carrera could clarify release timing, compatibility, detailed specifications and safety guidance. Until the company or retailers publish those details, the confirmed information remains the two reported configurations, their listed prices and their recommended ages.
